Ripping Out the White Alyssum

This afternoon, as I was driving up to the house from the store, I realized that the white alyssum growing on the west edge of the corner garden was making the 'Midnight Blue' Regatta lobelia look like there were plants missing from the 'line up'. So I pulled up all the white alyssum plants I could find on the west side (I left the few purple as I hope to make the SW corner primarily purple and yellow), shook the seeds out of them over the red snapdragons in the NE corner and then tossed the plants.

While out there I also noticed several of the transplanted 'Blue Bedders' were looking a bit wilted, but I think they'll pull through, although I may have to prune one of them down to the ground and let it grow back out.

I also didn't like the way the 2 slightly broken apart containers of bulbine looked now that they're in the ground. Once everything comes back from being moved around and I get a better feel for where I want them I think I'm going to dig them back up, break them into the dozen or so separate plants they can be and replant them - like I did the third container.
