For all the things that go on day to day in my garden that my mind just can't hang on to - all the seed starting & rooting cuttings that aren't ready for my garden journal, all the weather, the repotting & unearthing I do and just don't have the time to post in my journal - but want to - there is this blog. Hopefully it will also be a place friends can come and see what's happening in my garden. Because there's little in this life as pleasant as sharing a garden with a friend.

'Blue Lagoon' Gladiolas

Cleaned the garden today, pulling up more buttercups than I care to think about. Hopefully the pansies, snapdragons and Stella d'Oro daylilies can florish now.

I also planted 10 Blue Lagoon glads that I bought at the Wal-Mart in Wharton on my way home from Houston last month.
