Ernest and I went to Corpus this afternoon to put checks in the bank and let me pick up some GSE, a cotton T-shirt (Angel Food) and some cuticle cream. On the way over we stopped by Cristal's to drop off some wood blocks for their new trailer and I, once again, became enamored with several of the plants they have around the office.

So when we were heading home from dinner I made a detour by there and took cuttings from a yellow with red throat hibiscus, a lt pink hibiscus with very light white swirls, a yellow Ixora and 2 cuttings from a huge planting of antique red roses out front.

When we got home I dipped them in hormone, planted them in 3" pots, put the pots in a gallon ziplock bag and put the bag in the front window. As of today they're looking great!
